New book, updates, etc.
Hey all, sorry for just kind of dropping off for about a month. Things got a little crazy here, I wasn’t as ready as I thought for summer to start and the kids to be home 24/7, and I buckled down and knocked out a pretty big project.
I don’t know who knows, but I self-published a book earlier this year.
Signs and Wonders is a chronological walk through a life of faith, starting at creation and ending with my own life and views on life through the lens of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. It includes some poems that I previously published here, and many new poems as well. I’ll post those new poems here soon.
If you’re interested in purchasing a copy of Signs and Wonders, you can do so here:
I held a book signing for the initial launch, and I’m planning to hold a couple more events over this summer. I’ll post about them here as well once the dates are finalized.
In other news, I have a few bigger projects in the oven:
I’m working on translating LDS hymns into Latin, an exercise in imagining an alternate history of the Restoration where the artifacts of the Church’s history come from Ancient Rome
I recently wrote 30+ poems in response to an art exhibit. I collected those in a forthcoming volume. Here’s a little teaser of the cover, and one of the poems that will be included in the collection:
I’ll be back on with daily poems soon, thanks for your patience!
